Bloomberg TV anchor Yousef Gamal El-Din has announced his departure from the channel
“After an exhilarating eight years of live business news with Bloomberg the time has come to bid farewell,” he posted on Linkedin. “This chapter of my life has been nothing short of extraordinary, exceeding my wildest dreams. I had the privilege of anchoring over 1,600 episodes of Daybreak Middle East, a program that became the benchmark for regional coverage and authentic conversations.
“It's been an honor to be part of your mornings. Reflecting on my time here, there are moments that stand out as milestones in my career. I’ll never forget the 2023 interview with the Chairman of the Saudi National Bank that sent shockwaves through the financial system, or the insightful discussion about the economic outlook with personalities like Christine Lagarde.
“Every experience shaped me as a person, enriching my understanding of the world we live in. But beyond the headlines, it’s the people who made this journey truly remarkable. From dedicated producers to researchers who worked tirelessly behind the scenes to the thousands of top executives and officials who graciously shared their insights, I am profoundly grateful for your unwavering support.”
