This week we list the Top 10 Mummy Bloggers in the Middle East – a diverse set of women offering us a glimpse into the touching, humorous and often hectic aspects of motherhood. Our blog ranking methodology takes into consideration social sharing, topic-related content, reader engagement and post frequency.
1. Mum of Boys |
British expat Louise Emma Clarke started Mum of Boys in 2014, going on to win Time Out Dubai Kids ‘Best Parent Blog’ in the same year. A freelance journalist and copywriter by day, Clarke’s posts draw on her experiences bringing up her two boys in the UAE. In addition to personal anecdotes and family updates, the blog includes tips for parents on where to shop, family-friendly outings, and more. |
2. Sand In My Toes |

4. Mama Knows Dubai |
Founder of Mama Knows Dubai, Kelly Whitehead launched her family-oriented blog in 2009 as an extension to her widely successful events company Mamaevents. Today, the blog has become an online destination in the UAE for mums, dads, and parents-to-be looking to connect, and find inspiration, on where to go and what to do. |

tuesdayschild is a blog "for, and about, Arabia’s stylish mums and mums to be." Heidi Raeside, who has been writing the blog since 2012, explores the indulgent bits of motherhood, including interior décor, travel, fashion and gifts. The blog also profiles the region’s glamorous and high profile moms, and won ‘Best Parenting Blog 2015’ at the second edition of the Time Out Dubai Kids Awards. |
6. Cuddles and Crumbs |
A stay at home mom of two little ones, Abigail Caidoy’s blog Cuddles and Crumbs is an outlet to her two passions: cuddles (family) and crumbs (food). The blog covers recipes, lunchbox ideas, family travel and expat life in Dubai. Formerly called My Nappy Tales, the blog has been written since 2008. |
7. Seashells On The Palm |
Edwina Viel began Seashells On The Palm in 2013 as a creative space to celebrate motherhood and also share the realities of parenthood. A collaborative project, the blog showcases the stories of fascinating and inspiring mothers. Mums from London, Dubai, Singapore and New York share their thoughts, advice and experiences on all things parenting, travel, fashion, health, beauty and lifestyle. |
8. Dubai Our Sandbox |
After having her first child, Emily Lidén launched Dubai Our Sandbox in 2011 as a way to connect with other mothers. Her blog shares fun things to do, see, make and buy for toddlers – without leaving out goodies for their parents. In addition to ‘scoops’ and lifestyle tips, the French expat’s family-friendly site hosts regular competitions and giveaways. |

The newest blog to make our list, The Son And The Moon launched in June 2015. Written by British expat Abbey Michelle, the site shares her insights as a new mom living abroad and covers a variety of topics including work-life balance, travelling with kids, product finds, and more. |
10. Super Mommy Beirut |
Child development and music educator Yasmina Audi launched Super Mommy Beirut in 2014 to empower and aid women through the ups and downs of motherhood. Visitors to the site can find parenting advice, recipes, and reviews of the best places to take children in Lebanon. |
