Egyptian tech and digital economy website FollowICT has launched an English edition.
The Arabic site, which won the Best Economic Platform Award at the Arab Media Awards in 2022, has added English content in a bid to ‘resonate with Western audiences.’
Editor-in-Chief, Ahmed Al-Barmawi, said: “We look forward to achieving new milestones that reflect our commitment to delivering exceptional and innovative content that meets the aspirations of our audience everywhere.”
The English site is headed by managing editor Doaa Abdel Moneim, who also serves as the Head of the Business and Economic Affairs Desk at Ahram Online.
“I aim to further develop the content provided by FollowICT, focusing on in-depth analysis and innovative news stories that reflect global and regional technological and economic developments,” she said.
