Sky News Arabia has opened a new bureau in Paris to expand its European coverage.

The Abu-Dhabi based, 24-hr Arabic-language news channel provides comprehensive coverage of Arab and international issues on multiple platforms including TV, radio, social media, online and mobile apps.

Nart Bouran, CEO of Sky News Arabia, said: “The opening of the Paris bureau is part of our European expansion plan. We have selected Paris due to its strategic location, considering the rise of France as a pivotal power in facilitating Arab-European relations. Our new site will offer in-depth coverage of current political and economic events as well as sports, culture, technology and health news. In line with the commitment that we have demonstrated in our domain since our launch in 2012, our reporters will continue delivering breaking news whenever and wherever it happens.”

He added: “This step aligns with our continuous effort to become the news source of choice for the Arab audience through broadcasting live coverage and other high-quality content from different corners of the world.”

Sky News Arabia operates multiple bureaus in the Arab world and has international representation on four continents. Apart from Paris, latest openings include Kuwait, Nouakchott, Aden, Tunis and Jeddah.
