Ray Colgan has joined Dubai One TV’s evening news programme Emirates News as an Editor & Correspondent.
He started his career at Ireland's national broadcaster RTE, reporting on domestic politics and business stories for the TV and radio service, as well as assignments in Egypt, Kenya, Pakistan, Turkey and a number of European countries.
He also presented the station's European politics programme from the European Parliament in Strasbourg and, more recently, was an Editor for a Switzerland-based broadcasting organisation.
"I am very excited to be joining the team at Dubai Media Incorporated and Emirates News,” he said. “There are many exciting stories to be told here, and it's a privilege to get the chance to tell them.”
