New Editor-in-Chief for Al Bayan

Muna Bu-Samra has been appointed Editor-in Chief of Al Bayan newspaper, becoming the second female Editor-in Chief of a national newspaper in the UAE.
Bu-Samra joins the Arabic broadsheet from her role as Director of the Dubai Press Club, with Aysha Taryam of The Gulf Today the country’s other female newspaper Editor-in Chief.
Her appointment was made as part of a major reshuffle at Dubai Media Incorporated, with former Editor-in-Chief of Emirates 24/7, Riyad Mickdady, also joining Al Bayan as Executive Editor-in-Chief.
