New appointments at Emarat Al Youm

Dubai Media Incorporated has announced a number of senior editorial appointments at Emarat Al Youm newspaper.
Abdallah Al-Qamzi is now Deputy Editor in Chief of the tabloid Arabic daily, with Abdullah Bani Issa appointed as Managing Editor.
Fahima Zinil has been promoted to the post of Deputy Head of Production, and two sections have been introduced to the Local Affairs Department, with Shaimaa Hinawi to head the Investigations Unit and Mariam Al Marzouki in-charge of the News Unit.
The appointments form part of a major reorganisation of Dubai’s government-owned media outlets which also saw changes at Arabic broadsheet Al Bayan and English online newspaper Emirates 24/7.
