A new digital magazine showcasing ‘modest’ fashion from around the globe has been launched by the Islamic Fashion and Digital Council.
Cover Magazine is a quarterly title featuring fashion spreads from top designers, insider tips and advice, as well as exclusive interviews with icons of the industry.
The role of Editor-in-Chief will rotate each issue to give readers a fresh perspective from IFDC’s global offices in Canada, Cape Town, Istanbul, London, Milan and Moscow, as well as affiliate offices in Dubai and Dhaka.
“Cover Magazine is set to change the modest fashion space. It was always important that we come up with this publication in order to demonstrate the stunning beauty, voice and unique perspective on this very special industry,” said IFDC Chairwoman, Alia Khan.
Fashion designers Tahir Sultan and Amber Feroz, as well as street style blogger Olga Lobanova are among the Middle East based talent featured in the launch issue, which showcases fashion and lifestyle content from 16 countries worldwide.
Franka Soeria, the current Editor-in-Chief and IFDC Country Manager in Turkey, said: “Through Cover Magazine, modest fashion will get global recognition.
"My vision as this issue’s Editor-In-Chief is to create a global sensation in the media world that will leave people wanting more from our industry; and thanks to my colleagues at IFDC, the amazing global leaders of all the Islamic Fashion and Design Council offices, I think we achieved that!”
