Miles Masterson promoted to Executive Editor at Firefly Communications

Miles Masterson has been promoted from Managing Editor to Executive Editor at Doha-based media content and publishing firm Firefly Communications.
In his new role, Masterson will oversee the production and product development of business and current affairs magazine The Edge, B2B publication Qatar Construction News and associated websites, brand extensions and new launches.
He will also oversee production and product development at Firefly Premium, the content marketing and periodical, book and digital publishing division of Firefly Communications, whose client roster includes Qatargas, Al Asmakh Real Estate and Qatar Insurance Company.
Masterson is originally from South Africa, where he worked as a director, publisher, editor and journalist for various media companies for two decades, including Africa's largest media company, Media24.
He held the position of Managing Editor at Firefly Communications since joining the firm in 2010, and at Firefly Premium since its inception in 2014.
