Film fans in the Middle East can now read a regional edition of the world's biggest movie magazine following the launch of Empire Arabia.
Separate Arabic and English editions of the monthly title are being published by Dubai-based Origami Publishing and Events as part of a licensing agreement with Bauer Media.
Khaldoun Qaddoura, Editor-in-Chief of Empire Arabia, said: "Nine years ago I bought my first issue of Empire from a small news stand in Damascus. I fell in love with the brand and it wasn't long before the idea of bringing Empire to the Middle East came to mind.
"Dubai and Abu Dhabi have fast become the bridge between the Middle East and Hollywood with many recent blockbusters such as Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol, Fast 7, Star Wars and Star Trek choosing both cities as their preferred shooting locations."
The Middle East edition combines international content from the UK and Australian editions of Empire with regional coverage, including news and reviews on the latest Arabic and Bollywood film releases and insight into the Middle East's growing film production industry.
The first edition of Empire Arabia was published on October 25 featuring new James Bond film Spectre on its cover.
