Majid TV Celebrates First Birthday

Abu Dhabi Media is celebrating the first anniversary of the launch of kids’ channel Majid TV.
Majid, which also has a strong online presence, including a website and a number of social media channels, seeks to engage children in a fun and entertaining way, in alignment with the cultural values of the UAE and the region.
H.E. Mohamed Ebraheem Al Mahmood, Chairman and Managing Director of Abu Dhabi Media, said: “In the twelve months since we launched Majid Kids TV, we have been able to successfully build a central media body which supports Abu Dhabi’s mission to preserve the UAE’s culture, heritage and rich traditions.”
He explained that Abu Dhabi Media is dedicated to launching children’s initiatives aimed at simplifying UAE culture, traditions and literature, with special focus on Emirati folklore.
“Majid TV Channel has achieved its objective to provide educational and entertaining content designed especially for younger viewers,” he said. “The channel is dedicated to producing content that reflects our national values whilst also being contemporary."
