Lilian Wagdy has stepped down from her role as Head of the News Desk at CNN Business Arabic to begin a new career as a filmmaker and content creator.
“After two decades of a fulfilling career in journalism, culminating as Head of the News Desk, I am now embarking on a journey into filmmaking and content creation, driven by a deep-seated passion for storytelling in its many forms,” she said.
"The year and a half I spent with CNN Business Arabic has been nothing short of transformative. I have had the privilege of working alongside incredibly talented individuals who are as dedicated to the craft of journalism as they are to integrity and accuracy. Every challenge we faced and every success we celebrated has enriched my understanding and appreciation for the impact of our work.”
