Gulf lifestyle and culture magazine Khaleejesque has been re-formatted as a bi-lingual magazine from this month.
Launched in English in 2012, the Kuwait-based title has introduced Arabic content in its latest issue, which also features a new logo and upgraded layout.
Managing Editor, Lucy Moore, said: “More than eight months ago, we took a team decision that Khaleejesque should go bi-lingual. At the time it seemed an obvious move; the appreciation of the Arabic language is so strong and there is a heavy shift towards bringing back the language of our region.
“With this in mind, Khaleejesque is entering a new phase of its identity, both visually and contextually we have strived to uplift who we were and to introduce a new line of vision. We’ve developed a five-year direction, with this issue being the seed of change. 2016 will be exploring our natural landscape, whether it’s the people feeding our souls or the companies striving to preserve our region for the future. We hope you enjoy the future of Khaleejesque.’’
Khaleejesque focuses on culture and creativity in the Arabian Gulf, including fashion, art, design, travel, food, entertainment, events, technology and people.
