Global PR and integrated communications agency H+K Strategies has been named EMEA Consultancy of the Year at the 2016 SABRE Awards in Berlin, with Memac Ogilvy named Middle East Consultancy of the Year.

Memac Ogilvy PR also picked up a Gold Sabre in the Middle East category for its ‘Ramadan Dark Iftar’ campaign for Coca-Cola

Michael Frohlich, Ogilvy PR’s EMEA CEO, said: “It is always a humbling moment when recognised by your peers as being a top industry agency and I have never felt more proud than I do today as the CEO of this incredible network.

“Hardworking and relentless in their pursuit for excellence, every one of our offices contributed to the amazing award wins we received at the 2016 EMEA SABRES.”

The Holmes Report selected the 2016 PR Consultancies of the Year following an extensive research process involving more than 200 submissions and face-to-face meetings with the best PR firms across the region.

Lars Erik Grønntun, Chairman and CEO EMEA at H+K Strategies accepted the EMEA award, which recognised the network’s impressive financial performance in 2015 and strong energy and technology practices.

“This award, in a category with so many strong nominees, is testament to all the hard work and excellence of our teams across the region,” he said.

“Since consolidating our Europe, Middle East and Africa regions two years ago, a lot of people have worked hard to take H+K in the region to the next level. By implementing our regional strategy of Connecting, Converging and Learning we’ve managed to take the agency to a new level, winning exciting new business, building stronger creative and content bids and strengthening our regional footprint.”
