Hatem Maher promoted at Reuters in Cairo

Hatem Maher has been promoted to Deputy Middle East Breaking News Editor at Reuters in Cairo.
He joined the news agency as MENA Breaking News Correspondent in February 2023, and was formerly a Cairo-based Reporter for US broadcaster ABC News, as well as covering economy and politics in Egypt and North Africa for The Africa Report.
