The best media work in the region will be celebrated at the Festival of Media MENA tomorrow night.
Now in its second year, the event brings together top media leaders, media owners, advertisers and media agencies to discuss the latest issues facing the regional media industry.
The conference runs from 9am to 5:30pm on April 20 at the Westin Dubai Mina Seyahi, and will be followed by the awards ceremony at MusicHall, Zabeel Saray from 8pm onwards.
Festival of Media MENA is organised by Mediaquest and London-based specialised events and publishing company C Squared, with similar events also run in Latin America, Europe and Asia.
Alexandre Hawari, Co-CEO of Mediaquest, said: "We are extremely excited to be hosting the ninth edition of the Festival of Media, and the second edition of its presence in the MENA region here in Dubai. We've seen some great work being entered this year and compelling insights from our guest speakers to be shared with advertising and marketing professionals."
Over 400 delegates from across the region are expected to attend the conference, which features speakers from the likes of Google, Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, Omnicom Media Group and GroupM.
The festival is also introducing its Emerge contest this year - a platform for 10 media start-ups and entrepreneurs to deliver a 90-second pitch showcasing their businesses to a jury of five judges.
