The regional editions of Vogue and GQ have been taken ‘in-house’ by Condé Nast.
Vogue Arabia had been published under licence by Nervora since October 2016, while ITP Media Group launched GQ Middle East in October 2018.
The websites of both titles will be relaunched by Condé Nast Middle East imminently, with their print magazines to follow in March.
Manuel Arnaut and Amine Jreissati have been appointed Heads of Editorial Content for Vogue Arabia and GQ Middle East, respectively.
Arnaut, who has been at the helm of Vogue Arabia since May 2017, said: “With this transition, Vogue Arabia will continue to be the leading title in the Arab market, while connected to a global network that broadens the reach of our publication. Through qualitative print, engaging digital, and blockbuster events, we will amplify and prioritise Arab voices and fashion, now even more exposed to a broader audience.”
Jreissati, who was Fashion Director at Vogue Arabia under Nervora, added: “Joining Condé Nast is an opportunity to shape the cultural conversation with creativity, precision, and insight. My vision is to redefine modern masculinity, blending timeless style with forward-thinking narratives that challenge, inspire, and elevate. GQ Middle East will be the definitive voice for the sophisticated, conscious, and dynamic men in our region today; back to its true meaning.”
