Canvas magazine appoints new Editor

Mahnaz Fancy has joined Mixed Media Publishing as the new Editor of Canvas magazine.
She was previously Executive Director of ArteEast in New York, which works to present the works of contemporary artists from the Middle East and North Africa to a wider audience.
Canvas founder and Publisher, Ali Khadra, said: “I am confident that her extensive professional experience and international perspective are precisely what Canvas needs to continue to serve as the premier magazine for the rapidly developing cultural scene in the Middle East and Arab world.”
