OSN subscribers can now listen to the nine stations of the Arabian Radio Network via their televisions.
David Butorac, CEO of OSN, said the addition of the radio stations to the pay-TV company’s platform forms an important part of its digital expansion plans.
"Our simulcast distribution agreement with ARN is an industry-first in the region that provides a wider choice of entertainment for our subscribers in the UAE at no extra cost,” he said. “The diversity of ARN’s nine brands in their language of broadcast and content means the entire community is assured of programmes of their choice via OSN right in their living rooms.”
Arabian Radio Network operates Arabic radio stations Al Arabiya 99 FM and Al Khaleejiya 100.9 FM, English stations Dubai 92, Dubai Eye 103.8 and Virgin Radio Dubai, Hindi station City 101.6 FM, Malayalam station Hit 96.7 FM, Persian station Radio Shoma 93.4, and Tagalog station Tag 91.1.
